Challenge: Identify and establish a digital-first approach workflow to increase and drive web and social traffic.

  • Design, develop and implement processes to manage and highlight all content across several platforms to engage our audience of CHRO and HR executives. Results have been an increase of more than 150% in pageview traffic and a more than 55% increase in unique visitors through SEO optimization.
  • Created databases and performed comparative data analytics to inform and drive traffic in real time.
  • Created engaging social and development campaigns to assist in increased registration of external programs through platforms like social media. Challenge: Target and improve web content to grow digital audience.

  • Prepared, published and managed human resource web content — articles, slideshows, data charts, photos — to Employee Benefit News, a site targeted to HR managers and other executives, and its sister site, Employee Benefit Adviser, through such CMS platforms as iPro and Brightspot, while using search engine optimization best practices to improve digital visibility and increase traffic. I was able to expand traffic to more than 600,000 pageviews a month from a 250,000 goal when I first started.
  • Manage the publications’ award-winning social media accounts, including Twitter, LinkedIn groups and Facebook pages, both organically through the social media channels and optimizing engagement through programs like SocialFlow, as well as through engagement programs such as and Linked In Q&As. Efforts resulted in yearly awards from the American Society of Business Publication Editors for social media presence and other recognitions from Folio.
  • Write news and feature articles on trends and changes in the human resources industry while creating accompanying digital content, including data charts, photo collages and polls.
  • Used tools including Google Analytics, Parsely, and SEMrush to build analytical databases to measure growth and drive trending content.
  • Took on editor-in-chief responsibilities during editor’s absences to successfully manage reporters and maintain a steady flow of incoming content.
